Road Base for Bound Applications
Do you need a material that’s going to maintain its integrity even if high levels of moisture are applied to it? Stabilised/bound-aggregates are a great option for hard stands and structural fills where a low sensitivity to moisture is vital. We create DGB 20, DGS 20 & 40, EnviroBase and EnviroDust in bound formats that ensure a more stable surface.
Our densely graded base course is just the thing for earthworks and stabilised earthworks. Compliant with TfNSW R71 & 73, if you want TfNSW compliant material for bound applications we have normal and slow setting binder options for your project that are 100% recycled, sustainable products.
60/20 Cobble Aggregate
Take a look at our 60/20 cobble that’s just the thing for site access/wet weather access requirements. In addition, we also stock 50/70 cobble, which is suitable for drainage filter work, course fill and access roads, especially during wet weather.
Custom Aggregates
Recycled products can be produced and fit for purpose for applications such as; hard stand projects, general fill, haunch/overlay work, concrete slab bedding, select material zone (SMZ) and sub-base and base. One of the major advantages of using the recycled aggregates that we produce here at NRS is that we can create a product that’s tailored to the exact needs of your project.
If you need a product that has low moisture-sensitive characteristics, we can create one that’s exactly right for your chosen application. If you need a concrete slab bedding that’s largely immune to the effects of moisture (so won’t noticeably contract and expand), but also has a good level of strength, we can come up with aggregate that has the properties you’re looking for. We can provide binder ratios from 2% up to 12% – give us a call and let us know what you want and we’ll deliver the materials you need – our no-spec options provide plenty of freedom for you to purchase DGB, DGS 40 or one of our other products, tailored to the requirements of your project.
Blended Aggregates
Ideal for both heavily bound and lightly bound materials stabilised sands and more, our high-capacity pugmill can mix almost anything! Able to create products for main roads and hard stand pavements that meet both council and TfNSW specifications, our mixing plant can quickly make whatever you need. If you need a cement binder, a cement modified product or something made to your own spec, our blending plant is more than up to the task!
Approved by regulatory authorities, NSW EPA and others, Newcastle Recycling Solutions aggregates are an environmentally responsible option that uses far less energy to produce than the virgin aggregate. In addition, they offer excellent performance and, in time, can be recycled again to complete their cycle as part of the circular economy.
We can provide almost any volume of aggregate
No matter what the size of your order, our plant is capable of meeting your needs. As a well-known resource recovery plant in NSW, we get high levels of waste materials delivered to our plant that we can quickly process to provide you with your products. In addition to one-off orders, we can also deliver repeat orders of aggregate to your chosen schedule.
